Looking at the time this man has been in office. To be fair he hasnt had a chance to do anything.Hes given thousands of pounds to help people who where off work with covid. Giving money to thousands to help pay their winter bills.i dont think Starmer would have done any better ..No way i wll be voting for him..To be honest does people who are working feel a lot better off so who gets in. Thousands of young and fit people no intension of starting work.

But surely politics should be about manifesto policies and performance, not because you have a partisan attitude to a political party for cultural and historical reasons.

As is stands at the moment, I have no desire to vote for any of the political parties, except for the looney party, but for some reason the loonies never put up a candidate in Makerfield, and in an ideal world I would join the looney party, and hopefully be able to stand as a looney party candidate, but it is not an ideal world is it

When the election comes, hopefully an independent candidate will stand in Makerfield, who is obviously a crackpot, and that person will get my vote, but if no such crackpot stands, and on the ballot paper there are just the usual useless political parties, I am just going to 'spoil' my ballot paper

Sunak was one of the authors of the 2008 crisis that resulted in tax payers having to bale out the banks, and the subsequent impairment of our wealth for the next decade and a half.

The man should be in prison, not running the country.

How did Sunak help cause the 2008 financial problems ?

It is well recorded that during his time with Goldman, he was one of the people who speculated against banks and similar by creating derivatives that were arguably fraudulent, which led to the fictitious book value of investments being inflated: a bubble which inevitably had to burst. A man who has enriched himself at the expense of the UK taxpayer is hardly one to trust with our financial well being.

HM, you've got the triple lock to which you've benefitted a lot through it..They've tried like mad to stop immigration but every time they try, labour and co vote against it. I'm sure I could find other things if I looked but these are just off the top of my head. I know they've also done stupid things also, and the infighting within no-one can deny that. With being called a pathetic tory look in your own labour back yard. All you labour people from Starmer to the grassroots on here have criticized, moaned and complained for year about everything the govt did, yet not one of the labour opposition could give an alternative. I don't vote anymore because of the terrible state of politics and when labour get into power I shall be defending them if this type of situation occurs. One more point, why is it ok for you to denigrate one party and then castigate someone for criticizing the other ?......

This is Wot I know Whups.

The population of England and Wales has risen to 59,597,300, the first results from the 2021 census have shown.

It grew by more than 3.5 million (6.3%) since the previous census in 2011, and has more people over 65 than ever.

When added to published census figures for Northern Ireland and official estimate of the Scottish population for 2020, the UK population now stands at 66,966,400.

The rise is one of the biggest since the census began in 1801.

Well, maybe years ago the benefits of emigration, were more than in recent times, and I suppose it depends on what your job is, if you are in a highly trained, niche occupation, such has being a doctor, then the wages offered in Australia and the United States, might mean that you are guaranteed to have a much better lifestyle than in Britain, but for less qualified types of people, when you see them on TV programs such has 'Wanted Down Under' they may be able to afford a much larger property in Australia, than what they have in the UK, but when it comes to the salaries v cost of living, in Australia, then the advantages of living in Australia start to erode fast, then there are the complexities of being immigrants in a foreign country, which has a different culture to Britain, with mixed opinions on how Australian folk think about the Poms.

I encountered such cultural problems when I moved from Wigan To Atherton, because Atherton folk hate Wigan folk, and it is an awful feeling, knowing that your neighbours hate you, not for who you are, but because of where you come from
